Position Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated Web Design Intern to join our team of designers and assist with work for clients. You may work from any location in the US.

Experience and Education Required:
Ideal applicants include recent college or graduate school graduates, college students majoring in web design/devlopment, marketing or something similar, looking for course credit and valuable first-hand education that cannot be attained in the classroom, or someone looking for this experience at any stage of their career.

  • You must be willing to make at least a 3 month commitment

Skills required:

  • Proficiency in hand-coding HTML, XHTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, and Dreamweaver
  • Experience working with WordPress
  • Understanding of graphic optimization and browser limitations
  • A general understanding of jQuery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are seeking an innovative, creative and enthusiastic Web / Digital Graphic Designer to join our marketing / web team here at Freeman Multimedia. On site participation is not required, however, availability for creative meetings and discovery are needed.

The candidate will mainly be responsible for creating web and creative pieces for our clients as well as our company website. The designer will be a part of the marketing department and create marketing materials for both print and digital media, such as ads, banners and videos for web use.

This position will use the knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials based on direction from the marketing director.


  • Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or related field preferred; Professional work experience can substitute for degree depending on the person.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Etc.
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS a MUST, Responsive Design, JQuery & Javascript preferred.
  • Experience with a CMS or eCommerce Platform such as Volusion, Magento, Etc. is highly desirable.
  • Implement creative concepts for websites, landing pages and email designs based on the marketing director and company’s needs.
  • Create visually stimulating design for the company’s customers and demographic.
  • Juggle multiple projects and meeting deadlines without compromising quality is a must.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a self-motivated, energetic team player with a very strong work ethic.
  • Must be willing to learn and grow and want to expand your skill set.
